Principal's Message

Welcome to Meyler Street Elementary, home of the Mustangs!

 

It is with great excitement and purpose that I welcome all of our students, families, and community members to a new school year. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here and part of the Meyler family.

 

At Meyler, we are committed to nurturing students who are not only academically prepared but also socially and emotionally equipped to be Ready for the World! This year, we are focused on strengthening core instruction in literacy and math, fostering critical thinking, and continuing to build strong social-emotional learning practices across all grade levels.

 

We take great pride in cultivating a safe and inclusive school culture where students learn to be respectful, responsible, safe, kind, fair, and trustworthy. These shared values guide the way we learn, grow, and support one another each day.

 

We are also proud to offer our Dual Language Spanish Program, where students develop bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural awareness. “Aprender otro idioma es abrir una puerta al mundo.” At Meyler, we believe that every child has the potential to become a confident and compassionate global citizen.
